दोघांनी मस्तानी ची ऑर्डर दिली.संध्याकाळी भेटू म्हणत मितेश हॉटेल कडे निघाला.रूमवर आल्यावर परत त्याला आर्याचा विचार
अस्वस्थ करू लागला.आपण तिला आवाज देवून थांबवायला हवे होते असे त्याला वाटू लागले. बट इट्स टू लेट.

  संध्याकाळी ठरल्या प्रमाणे मितेश मेहता ना भेटला.त्यांना जशी हवी तशी कादंबरी लिहून द्यायचे ठरले.निखिल त्याला तिथूनच पिकअप करणार होता.दोघे रंकाळयावर आले.मस्त सूर्यास्ताची वेळ होती. रंकाळयाचे अफाट पाणी आणि त्यावर चममचनारा सूर्याचा केशरी गोळा,सगळा आसमंत केशरी रंगात न्हावून गेला होता.हळू हळू तो केशरी गोळा पण्याच्या पोटात गुडूप होणार होता.अशी ही रम्य संध्याकाळ होती.जिकडे तिकडे फिरायला आलेले लोक,खेळत असणारी लहान मूल,फेरीवाले, भेळ वाले,सगळा उत्साहाचा माहौल, जिवंत पणाचे लक्षण जणू!
  मितेश आणि निखिल रंकाळयाच्या कठड्यावर बसले होते,गप्पा मारत होते.थंडगार हवा मनाला प्रफुल्लीत करत होती.निखिल म्हणाला,खरच यार ती आर्या खूप सुंदर आहे.कोणी ही फिदा होइल तिच्यावर.
येस, सो ब्युटीफूल शी इज.आणि अचानक त्याच्या समोर आर्या उभी होती,त्याच्या कडे बघून हसत होती.”हॅलो रायटर डोन्ट मुव्ह अस म्हणत तीने तिच्या गळ्यात असणाऱ्या कॅमेऱ्याने मितेश आणि निखिल चा छान फोटो काढला.

अरे तुम्ही इथे कशा? मितेश ने आश्चर्याने विचारले.
का? रंकाळयावर मला यायला बंदी आहे का?
तसे नाही अशा अचानक समोर आलात… सरप्राइज.
हो मी सुध्दा फिरायला आले आणि तसे ही फोटोग्राफी माझी हॉबी आहे सो कुठे फिरायला गेले की कॅमेरा सोबत असतोच.मग अचानक असे छान फोटोज् मिळतात.तिने आता काढलेला त्याचा फोटो दाखवला.खरच खूप छान आला आहे.,तो आणि निखिल कठड्यावर बसले आहेत आणि मागे विस्तीर्ण रंकाळयाचे विलोभनीय दृश्य.पाण्यात पडणारे सोनेरी केशरी किरण.
थनक्यू सो मच .. बाय द वे मिट माय फ्रेंड निखिल मितेश ने निखिल ची ओळख करून दिली.निखिल शी इज आर्या.
मग दोघांनी हाय हॅलो केले.
आर्या म्हणाली, इफ यू डोन्ट माईंड आपण तिघे फिरुयात का एकत्र.

  मग ते तिघे गप्पा मारत फिरत होते.त्या दरम्यान आर्या ने त्यांचे खूप सारे फोटोज् काढले.
मितेश ने ही तिचे काही फोटो काढले. बोटीग जवळ ते आले तसे आर्या म्हणाली, आपण बोटिंग करूया का? त्या सिंगल बोट मधून.
मितेश ने निखिल कडे पाहिले.त्याने नजरनेच जा असे सांगितले.
मग आर्या मितेश एका बोट मध्ये तर निखिल एका बोट मध्ये बसले.
बोट मितेश स्वता चालवणार होता.आर्या शेजारी बसली होती,त्याला खूपच रोमँटिक फिल होत होते.तिचा असा निकट चा स्पर्श,वाऱ्या सोबत उडणारे तिचे सिल्की केस,तिने लावलेला मस्त असा परफ्यूम चा सुवास..मितेश च्या अंगावर रोमांच फुलत होता.ती बोलण्यात गुंग होती तर मितेश तिचा सहवास अनुभवत होता. वेडा होत होता.ही संध्याकाळ संपूच नये असे त्याला वाटत होते. अनपेक्षित पने त्याला आर्या भेटते काय आणि आता त्याच्या जवळ आहे…कसा हा योगायोग नाही!

मितेश आर्याच्या सहवासात सुखावत होता.दोन वर्षांनी पुन्हा एकदा प्रेमाचा रादर एका मुलीचा इतका जवळचा सहवास त्याला लाभला होता जुई नंतर कोणत्याच मुली शी त्याने कसलाच संबध ठेवला नव्हता.
